Oklahoma’s $50K on investigation actually a bargain?

Example No. 359 of how college football dwarfs college hoops:

Oklahoma has spent more than $50,000 since 2009 on an investigation into major NCAA rules violations by the hoops program.

That may actually be a bargain. Ohio State says it spent $800,000 on its consultant for its investigation and for an information technology company to search staff emails related to its football violations.

There’s a joke to be made here, but I’m certain Dan Wetzel is more qualified to crack it.
