When North Carolina and Michigan State play on an aircraft carrier on Nov. 11, it’ll be quite the event. It’s the No. 1 team against one of the nation’s premier program, all in front of roughly 7,000 servicemen on the deck of the ship that buried Osama bin Laden at sea. Even President Obama will be there.
So why not look the part?
Both teams will sport camouflage-themed gear for the game. Here’s a peek at UNC’s jerseys, as released by UNC’s athletic site. Given that the Tar Heels are gonna sport new jerseys this season, it’s a good time to unveil another iteration. (Photo from UNC athletics.)
I haven’t seen the Spartans’ jerseys yet, but neither has Tom Izzo. I’m sure they’ll look even better in camo-green.
